In 1977 Science Report produced a Spoof Documentary that investigated the strange disappearances of top science and intelligent folk. They went on to discover footage of a unmanned landing on Mars in 1962 where life was discovered. Even though it was claimed to be a hoax after airing it, it still created a lot of fuzz. It has been claimed that the footage of the Mars landing is indeed real, and that they used actors for the documentary as none of the real persons involved wanted to go public. In addition, the publisher of the story had been contacted by many high-ranking governmental officials about this story, asking in depth questions, indicating that he had indeed been on to something. This video can be labeled as Fiction based on Facts.
